Re: Grand Empress Shek'zeer

We just downed this last night on 25 man. My damage on Empress was solid, but does anyone have any tips on what would be the best way to handle the adds as a feral? It seems like the best I could do was combo up to a rip before the Fixate timer would run out and I had to back away to keep from being...

Re: Majordomo Staghelm

Something else that helped us tonight, we had our feral tank (who was dpsing) go bear on the pull. He got trix, md's ect. Our main tank would then taunt off before it wore off so he got the threat plus the threat he was generating by just spamming abilities. Seemed to give him a bigger lead.

Re: Majordomo Staghelm

Is anyone else having significant agro issues on hard mode Majordomo? I'm using cower over a dozen times per full attempt. Yes. Also just noticed that while WoL won't track the amount of cowers I use (almost every CD), I was able to discover that it does miss from time to time....the hard way. We a...

Can anyone confirm if Stampeding Roar (others)/ Dash combined with the Feral Swiftness talent is successfully removing the Volatile Poison debuff? I have been casting this when I hear someone call out they are slowed on Mumble due to this debuff, but I'm not sure it's actually removing this spell as...

Re: Ragnaros

For our 25 man kill tonight the biggest thing not covered in general melee strats I found was I had to re-add maim back to my bar (I hadn't used this in some time). I could bear bash and add then switch and maim another if / when needed while dpsing. Savage roar was also beneficial for the flame wal...

Yes - it's similiar to the mechanic The Crystalspawn Giants have in Stonecore.

Re: Majordomo Staghelm

I was able to shred him while he was in scorpion form from his side just past his arm pincers and move back in for cleave. Moving to the back of the boss just took to much time, especially in the latter parts of the scorpion phase. As mentioned make sure you move back in. It's very obvious when some...

Some things I noted that helped us on our kill: You can dps the boss while she is dropping feathers as long as you are not in front of her (can use sprint and feral charge here effectively). I was able to attack the bird while it was still coming in for a landing even though it appears to be out of ...

We split our soakers into 2 sets (range / Melee) of 3 teams for our 25 man kill. We then utilized a strat similiar to Festergut leg stacking where we moved from leg to leg once he cast a new crystal and creating as much space as possible between the crystal and soakers. If someone was not able to ta...

'Driving' is much easier as long as only your assigned targets are attacking the legs. If your other non driving classes dot the legs (for us our melee were driving split into two teams) it only driving this boss harder for the driver teams. One tip also discovered in our four attempts is try to tim...

Try having your raid leader put you just behind the bosses mid point before the fight. You can feral charge from there but never move from your spot. This will also give your other raid melee more room to be placed around the boss.

Re: Unheeded warning....Cries feral kitty does it not?

The trinket is amazing. I purchased mine for 5K just before patch (it still sells for 5K-8K on Icecrown) since we have yet to see it drop in a raid. Considering it boosts our highest beneficial stat the small amount of trouble you had to go through is worth it.

If your RL is considering sitting you on Mal due to adds take this into consideration if you really want in the raid vs raid stacking for the first guild kill of a boss. ATM (I haven't tried this on heroic this week with the add nurf / cat changes) on adds I FF, Mangle, rake, rip each of the swills ...

Take a look at http://www.stateofdps.com and you can see where they need to focus on buffs/nerfs currently. At the moment there are some huge gaps that should be adjusted.
