Is it better if I spend all my combo points on FB while TF is active and only use rip when TF is down if the target is above 25% HP?

With AoC, TF's CD is shorter than rip and I've been re-applying rip with every TF but I noticed in your guide that you say use TF+rip when the target is below 25% HP.

Your autoattacks have a chance to reduce the Energy cost of your next Cat Form ability by 100%
I forget exactly what the old one said but I think it was something along the lines of damage and healing spells/abilities. Is good that they aren't changing it though since no one wants to waste OOC on Savage Roar...
The behavior was consistent with the tooltip description but they didn't intend to change the mechanic in the first place.

The "clipping" section explains when you would want to refresh your bleeds early (before the Pandemic threshold). You still want your Rip affected by TF as often as possible pre-execute but you don't want to waste duration doing it.

Alright. Just to confirm, if Rip "TF buffed" has about 11 secs left, TF has 2 secs left, and I'm at 5 CP, should I reapply rip or go with FB and refresh rip when it's about to expire?

Thank you for your answers!

Probably best to wait until the very end of TF and then Rip, but the difference in damage is pretty negligible.

They buffed several MoP enchants to make sure they were best for everybody. The suggestions in the guide are now true best; make sure you drop Precise Strikes and Greater Assault if you were using them.

Speaking of which - what do you think about http://www.wowhead.com/item=52769 compared to http://wod.wowhead.com/item=74717 ?

Definitely not worth it. It made sense before if you really didn't care about the run speed for some reason, but I think they nerfed Precision and buffed Blurred Speed so it doesn't make sense to use it anymore.

I know it has to be lying, but it really messes with my mind when it says the last time the sections for the guide got edited was back in 2013.

As an example, the Gearing section says at the bottom:

That's not remotely correct, right? :p

It's fine, we've known it for awhile now, the fact that pawkets is actually a time traveler!

Hello Pawkets!
I'm kinda new to the forum, since i only started enjoying the feral druid a few months ago (never changing to a different class).
I've been using your guide since this 6.0 patch. It has helped a lot, Thanks for that.
Now I've been wondering why do you recommend us Crit and haste/crit gems instead of Agi and Agi/crit ones? Won't they help us do more damage, since Agi is our highest weight?
If you could give me a small explanation, that would be very nice.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings,
Curious Cat DURID Kooka.

using these stat weights as an example:
Spoiler: show
Image
10 x 7.88 = 78.8 dps
(10 x 6.87) [crit] + (10 x 4.61) [haste] = 114.8 dps

Raysere explains it here

Hello, I don't think old enchants will work or give you the full benefit, it been stated that current MoP enchants will be superior to any old enchants, that wasnt the case in the start of 6.0 tho, someone could correct me if i'm wrong.

Also may I ask you, I've checked your armory and can see that you play in Asia realms, but may I know why you guys have 6/6 upgrades and got way higher ilvls than EU and US, is there specific reason that you know about? I was surprised when I saw your character tbh :P

Someone told me the http://www.wowhead.com/spell=95471 give us full 60 agi, I will check later.

My personal understanding is that after the CATA, In Asia realm, significantly reducing the number of 25R team, 25R has a better loot is to give 25R team for more rewards.

And WOD, we will all the same drop, thanks Mythic.

Haha, how strange... they buffed it from 26 agility up to 60, that's extraordinarily weird. Yes it is better than Dancing Steel.

Hi!

Thanks for the guide and all the input everyone here is giving.

I have one question that is still not 100% clear.
When I have a tf, sr and on 100 doc buffed rip and enter execute.

Will my fb extend a fully buffed rip?

All inherent damage multipliers are carried over for the remainder of the execute phase with BitW. So yes, if you line up SR, TF & BT and a 5 CP Rip, FB will extend what we'll call the "PHAT RIP" for all of the execute range. Ancillary stat buffs such as trinkets, potions, etc., are NOT snapshotted and will not be extended with BitW.

Is there ever a (practical) point where temporary non-snapshot buffs would push FB above rip? Even if it will result in downtime?

Scenario: You have theoretical buff(s), which cumulatively give Y% extra damage for the next few seconds. The buff(s) do not snapshot. You have 5 CP, and so casting FB benefits fully, while rip will only gain a tick of extra damage at full strength.

What is Y%? Can that be reached through procs/trinkets/agi pot usage on the pull?

Going off the latest T17 simc page, DPCT of rip is 241k, FB is 138k - would it be as straightforward as saying 74% non-snapshottable buffs to damage, minus any amped ticks that rip would get off before the cumulative buffs fell off? eg, a mechanic like Dominion on BWD Nefarion would give enough if it were implemented in the current mechanics (as it reaches its end).

I'm having a hard time imagine what kind of buff that would be? Considering it would only effect 1 tick of rip it would have to be a trinket proc with a duration of <4 seconds :? (apart for some wierd mechanic that only last a couple of seconds maybe?)

Ain't Rip only worth casting if the target is alive for more than 5 ticks?

He's not saying only short duration buffs. He's saying if a buff is falling off (thus any buff with a duration will eventually have <1 second on it).
