Looks good. I like the flow chart thingy for the talents.
Question - is SR still the best option with its increased energy cost and shorter duration? Feels like it's moving back towards the Wotlk playstyle when SR is combined with Jagged Wounds.

Cricket? Nobody understands cricket. You have to know what a crumpet is to understand cricket.

At level 100 the Seed of Creation trinket makes Incarnation push ahead, but for 110 or without Seed - yes.
Savage Roar is roughly 8% ahead of SotF & Incarnation with current tuning and is pretty much a lock at level 110.

Nice, thanks for the guide, was very helpful.
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
I wonder how much of that lead will be lost if you don't have 100% uptime though. I mean sure it wins by 8% with 100% uptime. But if you ever don't have that in a fight or for whatever other reason combo points are sparse, you're gonna be wasting so much energy on 1-2 point savage roars because it now costs 40 energy.Xanzara wrote:At level 100 the Seed of Creation trinket makes Incarnation push ahead, but for 110 or without Seed - yes.

Which is funny because in WOTLK most of our damage came from shred. Bleeds made up about 30% of our damage.
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
I couldn't play during WoD due to work, so this was very appreciated.

I didn't. That's why bleeds aren't a huge portion of damage.

Have you guys done any raid testing recently? I really wonder how we stand dmg wise and what people expect about our scaling.

I liked the pawn string availability from the Pawkets Guide. Is it still the same or will it be different for Legion?
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
Great guide, I'm extremely new to WoW so it has helped me a lot!
However, I have a question: is there a cookie cutter build for mythic dungeons? I've tried a few variations and I'm not sure which one I like the most. I realize different talents are better suited for certain situations and I'm confident I'll know it by heart in the future but for now I'm not a hardcore player by any means so having a cookie cutter build that fits most mythics would be nice.

Go to wowhead and see Tinderhoof's (a frequent contributor to this forum) guide specifically Talent Builds. He lists different 5 builds and explains each and every choice. It is a fine piece of work.

Thanks for that, has helped me out a lot!Acornbrain wrote:.
A quick question though: how big is the difference between SotF/Incarn/SR on single target fights? I really prefer playing with SotF but can't bring myself to do it because I'm worried I'm losing out on a decent amount of damage :/
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
I heard somewhere that SotF is ahead of SR once you unlock Ashamane's Bite, because you apply the extra Rip more.
And even if SotF doesn't get ahead of SR, but only on par with it, wouldn't that be favorable both in raid situations and just to make our already complex rotation a bit easier?
I can also only imagine that the current Legendary items will work better with Incarnation or SotF?
- Gloves: Would proc more if the shadow Rip is applied more often.
- Feets: The extra stacks of Predatory Swiftness would be more usable with a higher number of finishers in a fight.
- Ring: The larger Energy pool would be better with the Energy return from finishers, if used together with TF.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, and i'd also love to hear from anyone using SotF + Ashamane's Bite, if they feel they do more DPS in "real world" situations over SR. I was so stupid to take Open Wounds on the way, and in around 30k AP i will get Ashamane's Bite
Personally I hate everything about SR. Always did, always will...

Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
That's sadly flat out wrong. SR beats SotF single-target by something like 10% - that number is calculated with AB.
The legendaries does not meaningfully impact the talent viability of those talents either.

Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
question on the Best trinkets in Twisting Winds the best/ that good? and wouldn't it only proc from LI? or since we have balance Affinity that makes are attacks range trigger it also? because if it is that good for us and im killing Mythic Spider Bird i might have to scoop this up for myself ^.^ if anyone can confirm thanks again to whoever that can shed light on this ^.^
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
I got it yesterday from heroic kill warforged, its doing around 1.5~2.0 mil total damage on average fights, another hunter got it too, and seems like mine is dealing more damage than him.Sashimi wrote:question on the Best trinkets in Twisting Winds the best/ that good? and wouldn't it only proc from LI? or since we have balance Affinity that makes are attacks range trigger it also? because if it is that good for us and im killing Mythic Spider Bird i might have to scoop this up for myself ^.^ if anyone can confirm thanks again to whoever that can shed light on this ^.^

wow did you notice it proccing from our regular attacks with balance AFF? or just moonfire =)?
Re: Xanzara's Feral Guide (7.0.x)
Its even procing without the balance afinity or LI, the damage from the proc isn't that great, its the flat agility on it that makes it good atm for me, 1557 agi at 875ilvl.Sashimi wrote: wow did you notice it proccing from our regular attacks with balance AFF? or just moonfire =)?
